Cutie
Cutie
Cutie was discovered as a kitten last year with breathing problems and was promptly taken to the veterinarian, who diagnosed her with a hernia. She underwent emergency surgery and recovered successfully. In January 2024, she reached an appropriate age for sterilization, but the vet declined the procedure after noticing irregular breathing. Further examination, including chest x-rays, revealed an enlarged heart and suspicion of bronchitis asthma. Cutie required an echocardiogram to assess her heart function, and treatment was to be determined based on the results. If her heart was functioning properly, she would then undergo a bronchoscopy to confirm asthma. Unfortunately, these procedures were delayed due to insufficient funds.
UPDATE: The echocardiogram was eventually performed, but sadly, Cutie has not been seen for several months. We suspect she may have wandered too far from home and gotten lost. Despite our efforts to search for her, we have been unable to locate her. While we remain hopeful for her return, Cutie will always hold a special place in our hearts for the joy and resilience she brought into our lives.
