Fortini was a stray cat, around seven months old, living near a tavern by Aliki beach on the outskirts of Galatas town. We received a call informing us that they had a sick kitten and didn’t know what to do. Upon inspection, she appeared very unwell. Once again, it was a trip to the vet and the dreaded cat flu diagnosis. She required medication for about two weeks, and although she recovered from the flu, she remained thin. We decided to keep her until she gained enough weight before releasing her. This took an additional three to four weeks, and she ended up staying with us.
