Isabella came from Poros Island. While helping to feed the stray cats, I noticed one cat crying each time it tried to eat, shaking its head and backing away from the food. The lady we were assisting went to get a cage, and we took her to the vet. The vet diagnosed her with a severe case of stomatitis (gingivitis) and recommended removing most of her teeth. Unfortunately, the lady who was assisting us couldn’t keep her, so Isabella came home with us. She was treated for stomatitis for about a month and had most of her teeth removed. After having her for about two months, we realized she couldn’t be returned to the streets, as stomatitis never goes away. So she ended up staying with us.
