Simone
Simone
Simone came to us at around three months old with breathing problems from a local bar in town. The bar owner alerted us, knowing we cared for sick cats. She was taken to the vet, who did x-rays and found pneumonia in her lungs. She had also been abandoned by her mother. As she was still a kitten, we kept her for two months before taking her back for a final check-up. She still had small traces of pneumonia, so treatment continued for another six weeks until she was given the all-clear. Due to the bar’s proximity to a busy car ferry, it wasn’t safe for her, and the bar owner had no suitable place for her. Unfortunately, the person who wanted to adopt her wasn’t suitable, so the bar owner asked if we could keep her. He had raised money for her treatment and was concerned she would get run over, so Simone became part of our group.
