Blue

We received a call from a lady who feeds stray cats in her local area about a sick cat. Upon arrival to pick up the cat, she also pointed out another cat with a problem in her hindquarters. Both cats received treatment, and one was returned to her area. Blue stayed with us due to severe constipation. She was initially put on Duphalac (a laxative) to alleviate her constipation, but after two months with no improvement, a second opinion was sought, and x-rays were performed. It was discovered that she had previously been run over and hadn’t received treatment, causing her hip bones to fuse together and compress her intestines near her anus, making it difficult for her to defecate. She was placed on a gastrointestinal fiber response diet, along with WeFiber powder, a complementary food supporting multifunctional digestive system health for chronic intestinal disorders. This treatment was effective, but we noticed she was consistently leaking urine, prompting another vet visit. The vet diagnosed her with urinary tract damage and prescribed WeCysto paste to support urinary function. Blue will require all three treatments for the remainder of her life
