Crystal’s life took a heartbreaking turn when she was hit by a car on Poros Island, leaving her paraplegic with a broken spine. Despite her challenges, she continues to thrive with dedicated care, including daily bladder expression and a special gastrointestinal diet.

Recent Health Update – Ongoing Veterinary Needs

In late November, Crystal developed a large abscess near her hip, requiring continuous treatment with Betadine and antiseptic cream twice daily. In December, she also battled a urinary bladder infection and underwent a course of Borflox antibiotics. These medical challenges have significantly increased her veterinary expenses, but with proper care, she remains strong and determined.
