The past few weeks have been devastating for us at Archie’s Cat Sanctuary. Two of our long-term residents, Tommy and Blackie, both battling chronic kidney disease, passed away despite every effort to save them.
Their losses have left us heartbroken, and facing vet bills we simply cannot manage on our own.

What Happened:
Tommy spent two weeks in the hospital, requiring constant treatment before he passed on Tuesday, 25th November.
Blackie’s condition suddenly declined, and despite daily monitoring and repeated vet visits over the past two months, he passed on Thursday, 27th November.
Both required repeated tests, medications, IV fluids, and emergency care.
The combined medical costs from these past weeks have pushed us far beyond our financial limit.
We are a small sanctuary, relying entirely on donations to survive. Every medical emergency hits us hard — but this one has left us unable to recover without help.
Why We Need Emergency Support:
The vet bills from Tommy and Blackie’s care must be paid immediately.
At the same time, more sick, injured, and abandoned cats continue to arrive who need treatment, food, and safe shelter.
Right now, we cannot continue without urgent support from our community.
