Tommy’s story is one of survival, resilience, and hope. He was found at a local car ferry dock, lost and disoriented, struggling to stay alive. He had neurological issues, severe gingivitis, and teeth so decayed that eating was painful. He was exhausted, hungry, and sick—but he still had a spark of life in him, and we knew we had to fight for him.

With your support, Tommy received urgent medical care, extensive testing, and a critical tooth extraction. Slowly, he started to heal. We saw glimpses of the playful, affectionate cat he was meant to be. But just when we thought he was finally on the road to recovery, things took a scary turn.

On December 29, 2024, Tommy refused to eat. The next morning, there was blood in his urine. His earlier bloodwork had shown slightly elevated kidney levels, so this sudden change was alarming. He had been on medication to support his kidneys, and his last tests had looked promising—but now, we didn’t know what was happening. He needed immediate care, more tests, and another round of treatments.

Tommy is a fighter, and once again, he pulled through. Today, we are beyond grateful to share that he’s doing well! After everything he has endured, he is back on his paws, enjoying life again. He has overcome so much, and his strength is nothing short of inspiring. But while Tommy is healing, we are still facing significant vet bills from his hospitalization and treatment.
